What Yoga Says About Addiction, Anxiety and Depression with Kerry Grasee C-IAYT

​In this western culture of “more is better” many of us have lost touch with our innate cravings and our innate human intelligence that all creatures are born with. There is a myriad of ways we crave and hunger. We crave love,  belonging, security, connection, creativity and so on. Sometimes we fill those hungers with other things like Facebook, technology, food, alcohol, obsessing, shopping etc. This can make our relationship to ourselves painful, fearful and confused. Leading to feelings of isolation and low self-worth. Sometimes, when we fall into these feelings we get caught in a cycle of addiction, anxiety and depression. Life can become a series of strategies to manage these painful feelings.

There is hope to step out of the cycle. In this workshop we will begin a journey of recovery using yoga, pranayama, mindfulness and essential life skills to re-embody our 360-degree, WHOLE life!
